Kaley Bitterman started playing softball at the age of 10 playing on the middle school softball team at Pine Castle Christian Academy, a small private school in Orlando, FL. After joining the team, coaches asked if anyone had an interest in learning to how to pitch so it began. Kaley spent the following summer mastering the mechanics of pitching and then became heavily involved in girls travel ball playing for several organizations in Florida. She was spending weekends at recruiting camps and showcase tournaments with the goal of playing and pitching at the college level.

Pine Castle Christian Academy had a stellar softball program. For being such a small school, PCCA had three teams. Kaley was a member of the Varsity team 6th-12th grade years. As a freshman pitcher they won the 2010 2A State Championship and finished State Runner-Up in both the 2012 and 2013 seasons and Kaley was named 2013 Orlando Sentinel Player of the Year.

Kaley attended LaGrange College, GA, and played only played a single fall season of softball before her past injuries held her back and she was not the same player physically as she was prior to the injuries. However, Kaley still had an intense love and passion for the game, so she moved back to Orlando and started giving private lessons.

Kaley's coaching dream was realized in 2016, when she accepted an assistant coaching position at The First Academy founded in 1986 is a Christ-centered, college preparatory, private school in Orlando, FL serving over 1,450 students from preschool through high school.

After just one year at The First Academy Kaley was then named varsity head softball coach in 2017 at TFA. The 2021 varsity softball lady Royals team won the districts title and advanced to the regional championship game. Coach Kaley was named 2021 TFA coach of the year.

"We are so grateful for Coach Bitterman’s dedication to the program and our TFA student-athletes. She ended the season with a 20-7 record and a historic appearance in the Regional Finals. Congratulations Coach Bitterman on this well deserved award!"

In 2015, we opened our 1st indoor private training facility called Performance Fastpitch. As we continued to grow the business, it wasn't long until I had to look for a larger space that could accommodate bigger groups and teams.

We moved into the current Performance Fastpitch Training Facility December 2019. This facility allows me to impact more girls in an environment suitable for individualized elite training for pitching, hitting and team training. The Performance Fastpitch Training Facility is located in South Orlando.
